UBS was ranked first in “Best Private Banking Services Overall”, based on Euromoney’s Private Banking and Wealth Management Survey

The Euromoney Global Private Banking and Wealth Management Survey 2021, a comprehensive annual review of the best providers in the industry, once again saw UBS emerge as the world’s best wealth manager. In total, UBS received 160 accolades for excellence, including 10 global and 33 regional awards.

Based on voting by 2,114 client-facing banking professionals around the world, the 18th annual Euromoney Private Banking Survey ranks the best private banking providers across client services, net worth segments, and technology capabilities. UBS is proud to come out on top in this prestigious ranking being recognized by peers as the world’s best wealth manager for the sixth consecutive year.

As the world’s leading wealth manager and one of the best capitalized banks in the industry, UBS has consistently ranked among the world’s top financial institutions and received numerous independent industry accolades in recent years. Maintaining a winning streak in this particular survey by Euromoney is even more significant given the backdrop of the challenges faced by UBS and its clients during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In addition to the important distinction of the main private banking award, UBS was ranked first in the following global categories:

  • High Net Worth Clients (USD 5-30 million)
  • Super Affluent Clients (USD 1 million to USD 5 million)
  • ESG/Impact Investing
  • Family Office Services
  • International Clients
  • Next Generation
  • Philanthropic Advice
  • Technology: Data Management and Security in Private Banking and Wealth Management
  • Technology: Innovative or Emerging Technology Adoption

Apart from the global categories, its peers voted UBS the best wealth manager in Asia and Western Europe, and, at a local level, in Hong Kong and Singapore, Germany and Switzerland. Especially regarding the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) region, UBS hit top spot in five net worth and services categories, including Next-Generation Services, Family Office Services, and Philanthropic Advice.
